Build the Knowledge and Resources to Teach Drone Technology
Blue Ridge Mountain Drones Education is continuing its five-year tradition of providing professional drone training during the NCACTE Trade and Industrial Education Fall Conference. Five workshops are available for teachers who teach or are preparing to teach high school drone technology.
Participants can choose from two tracks designed to support FAA Part 107 preparation, classroom instruction, aerial mapping, professional drone-program management, and public-safety operations.
The complete NCACTE conference runs November 18–21. The drone workshops described on this page are scheduled for November 18–20.
Teacher-Focused Training
Develop the aviation knowledge, operational skills, and classroom-delivery strategies needed to lead a high school drone program.
Classroom-Ready Resources
Train-the-Trainer workshops include corresponding DronePilotsForUS curriculum packages with lesson plans, PowerPoints, teacher resources, student materials, and activities.
Career-Connected Instruction
Connect students with aviation, mapping, public safety, data management, and other professional drone applications.
Choose the Track That Fits Your Program
The tracks run concurrently. Participants should select the individual workshops or complete track that best supports their teaching assignment and school program.
